This website is built with accessibility as a requirement, not a last-minute addition. Here is what has been done and what is still missing.
Commitment
Pastelería Kerrico wants this website to be usable with a keyboard, with a screen reader, and with reduced-motion preferences enabled, and for colour contrast to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
What is already in place
Every form field has an associated label, errors are announced and linked to their field, and focus moves to the first error when a form is submitted. The whole website can be navigated with the keyboard alone, including the order configurator. Text colours have been measured against the background (not guessed) to meet the minimum contrast ratio. With "reduce motion" enabled at the system level, all content is shown in full and in place: only the animation is switched off, never the information. Images carry real, descriptive alt text, not generic placeholders.
Known limitations
The internal panel (/admin) is built for the Kerrico team, not the public, and has not been audited to the same level of detail as the public website. Some product photos are still placeholders while the client confirms or a proper photo session takes place; the alt text on those gaps describes what should be there, not a real photo.
How to report an issue
If you come across something on this website that you cannot use because of an accessibility barrier, write to us at kerricotenerife@gmail.com telling us which page it was and what happened. We will look into it.
